На лотках, торгующих играми на CD, появилась занятная игрушка "Horse Racing". К сожалению, доступна только в английской версии. Игра не блещет особой графикой, но зато и требования к компьютеру минимальны - не надо иметь 3D ускоритель. Итак требования: Win95/98, P166, 32Mb Ram, Sound Blaster 16. Для многопользовательской игры необходимо либо кабельное соединение, либо сетевая карта, либо модем. Можно играть и по Internet. Подробнее можно узнать на сайте разработчика. В игре можно купить себе лошадь, выращивать ее, тренировать, потом участвовать в скачках. Весьма азартна игра на тотализаторе, можно ставить на свою лошадь или на чужую. Можно самому управлять лошадью на бегах или нанять жокея. Ниже приведено краткое описание игры на английском.

Welcome to the Sport of Kings.
Horse Racing takes you to the track for a complete Horse Racing experience. You'll start out with a new barn and 450,000 to invest in horses or bet. From there, it's up to you.
From your barn, you can go to a horse sale and pick out your winners. If you're not ready to raise and train your own horses, you can go straight to the track where you can just watch the action or jump in and start placing your bets.
Once you become a horse owner, you'll be responsible for the care, training and feeding of your horses. If you take good care of the horses, you'll be rewarded with great performers. You'll also have the chance to breed new horses and add them to your barn.
When you're ready to take a horse to the track, you can start out at Adobe Flats, a laid back track in the Southwest. As you build up a winning race record, you'll be able to advance to Flamingo Park, Futura Fields and finally, Magnolia Downs. As you work your way up through the circuit, you'll build your farm's bank account and your barn.
To add even more excitement, we've included Internet racing. You can race against your friends and family or visit our Internet lobby and race against people from all over the world. If you're not up to the challenge you can hire a jockey to run the race for you or just be a spectator and place bets on your favorite horses. When racing on the Internet, you'll notice some changes compared to racing against the computer.
If you find yourself a little light in the bank account, you can visit our sponsor sites and pick up some free cash for your farm's bank account. If you know your Horse Racing trivia, you can bet on our trivia questions and pocket the winnings. Be careful though, if you miss the question, you'll lose some cash.
